This is a cityscape of Ottawa, the capitol of Canada. I’ve visited this city several times now, since it’s only an hour and a half drive from where we live. It’s an amazingly charming city with some great architecture and some amazing views over the river. Ottawa is actually located in two provinces, Ontario and Quebec and the river marks the border between the two. I’ve only visited the Ontario side of the city where parliament hill is located. What I like about Ottawa is that it has a very European feel to it, with its great market and terraces but then there is this little bit of America city feel mixed into it.

This is a mixed media piece on stretched canvas, a combination of photo-transfer and acrylics. The sides of the canvas are painted black. The piece comes with a wire on the back for hanging. The piece is signed at the front and has title, date and artist name on the back and includes a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist. Be advised that colors and brightness depend on your monitor and the digital picture may be slightly different from the original work of art.
